Above is the map I created of Trail and notable points. Also I put the link to the map so it is easier to look at.

This is the first Big washed out area about a 1/4 mile before you get to First Pines Camp. You can get through here pretty easily, but It is going to need some work to make a permanent path across the creek.

ree

This was an area on the trail between 2nd Pines Camp and Spring Creek where the hill slide down on the trail. I came back on Sunday and Dug this area out and re-established the trail.

ree

This was an area that the trail was washed out between 2nd Pines and Spring Creek. This area will probably need a some rock work for a permanent solution. I came back on Sunday and worked this area pretty good to make a safe crossing.

This area is past Spring Creek and has become overgrown. I was glad I brough some hand nippers with me as it made getting through this area and other much easier.

ree

This area is between Spring Creek and the next creek. A big oak fell across the trail.

ree

The next Obstacle was multiple trees down on the trail which was easy enough to get through, plus there was a lot of overgrowth. I used my hand nippers to clear the brush to make it easier to pass through.

ree

This is looking back from where I had come on the trail. I am standing in Triangle Rock Creek. The Spice bush came back and blocked the trail it this section.

ree

I didn't get many good pictures of the Oasis area as I had to really think about how to get across and just forgot to take pictures. But if you have been to this area before this shot was taken from the other side of the creek before heading into the next bit of Spice Bush and thistle.

ree

This is the next section of Spice Bush and Thistle before getting out of the washes and onto the section of the trail climbing the Spur.

ree

This is the trail on the other side of the Oasis and Spice Bush. It was still there and easy to follow, but overgrown.

ree

There was some oak bushes growing into the trail in this section but was pretty easy to push through.

ree

Took a break at this tree that shades this part of the trail. This area is in good shape considering the last time we were here.

ree

The was the last obstacle before cresting the Spur.

Dead Manzanita on the Tip of the Spur - Spanish Mountain in the background (in the clouds).

Rough Creek Falls flowing into the Kings River.

That was Fun!
